A 3D hologram fan is an LED display built into a spinning blade array. As the blades rotate, the LEDs switch on and off in precise sequence, and persistence of vision does the rest — your eye assembles the moving points of light into a single, solid-looking image floating in mid-air. Can hologram fans be used outdoors?
They're designed for indoor use. For storefront windows, mount the fan inside the glass facing out — that's one of the most effective placements we see.
Are the spinning blades safe around customers?
The blades are thin and move fast enough to be visually invisible, but we recommend an acrylic case or mounting above head height in any space where people pass close by. We carry both.
